G‘alati nomli kimyo
Odatda, kimyoviy moddalarning nomi murakkabligi va talaffuzga qiyinligi bilan hammani qiynaydi. Masalan, Siklopentadiyeniltrikarbonilgidridvolfram moddasini, yoki, metilpropenilendigidroksisinnamenilakril kislotasi nomini talaffuz qilish tugul, harflarni adashtirmay, to‘g‘ri o‘qishni o‘zi katta gap. Biroq, kimyoviy formulasi C1289H2051N343O375S8 bo‘lgan oqsilni nomini menimcha birov eslab qolishga harakat ham qilmasa kerak. Chunki, uning nomida 1909 ta harf bor! Agar mabodo kimgadir qiziq bo‘lsa, uning ingliz nomini ilovada[1] keltiramiz.
Biroq, kimyogarlarni odamlar uchun murakkablik tug‘diradigan bunday qiyin nomlarni ataylab o‘ylab topib yurishadi deb ayblab bo‘lmaydi. Masalan, ular ichida ham, kap-katta odam bo‘lib qolsa-da, hali ham multfilm ko‘radigan va kashf qilgan moddalariga multfilm qahramonlari ismini beradiganlari ham bor. Quyida, nomi ilm-fandan yiroq bo‘lgan sohalardan kelib chiqqan kimyoviy moddalardan ayrimlari bilan tanishtiramiz.
Tibbiyot xodimlari mimimitsin nomli antibiotikni bilishsa kerak, yoki, hech bo‘lmaganda, u haqida eshitishgandir. Bu preparat qandaydir kimyoviy tarkibiga ko‘ra, yoki, kashf qilgan olim ismidan kelib chiqib emas, balki, Puchchinining «Bogema» operasi qahramonlaridan biri – Mimi sharafiga nomlangandir.
Yaponiyalik biolog Seguro Sato esa Pokemonlar ishqibozi bo‘lib, Pikachu anime multfilmini bolaligidan qoldirmay ko‘rgan bo‘lsa kerak. Shu sababdan, u ko‘z gavharidan o‘zi kashf qilgan oqsilga pikachurin deb nom bergan. Izohlaganda esa, Sato, ushbu oqsil xuddi Pikachu singari juda tezkor va oldindan bilib bo‘lmas xatti-harakatlar qilishi tufayli shu qarorga kelganini aytgan.
Ranasfmurfin – Janubi-Sharqiy Osiyoda yashaydigan yog‘och qurbaqasi qo‘nalg‘asidan aniqlangan oqsil nomi. U oqsillarga xos bo‘lmagan tarzda, ko‘k rangli bo‘lib, multfilmdagi smurflar rangida ko‘rinadi. Shu sababli, bu oqsil, smurflar sharafiga nomlangan.
Adamantan nomli uglevodorod moddasi mavjud. Uning nomi kimyo tamoyillari asosida berilgan. Biroq, adamantanning bastardan nomli «qarindoshi» mavjud. Ana o‘sha uglevodorodning nomi g‘alati. U «nikohsiz tug‘ilgan» degan ma’noni anglatadi L. Mohiyatan u adamantanning modifikatsiyasi bo‘lib, biroq, shakllanishiga ko‘ra, o‘zi mansub bo‘lgan uglevodorodlar oilasidagi boshqa uglevodorod moddalardan ko‘ra o‘zgacha yo‘l bilan hosil bo‘ladi. Shu sababli ham, uni tadqiq qilgan kimyogarlar, bunga shunday g‘alati nom berishgan (masalan, shunchaki, «begona» yoki, «o‘gay» deb qo‘yishsa osmon uzilib yerga tusharmidi…).
Janubiy Amerikada yashovchi qonxo‘r ko‘rshapalaklar so‘lagidan aniqlangan glikoproteid moddasini esa kashshoflar drakulin deb nomlashga qaror qilishgan. Sababi o‘zidan ma’lum: u qonxo‘r graf Drakula nomi bilan bog‘langan.
Shuningdek, ketananlardan birida, molekulalar kimyoviy bog‘ orqali bog‘lanishdan tashqari, shuningdek, mexanik ravishda ham tutashgan bo‘lib, ushbu modda molekulasi xuddi olimpiada o‘yinlari ramzi bo‘lgan halqalar singari 5 ta halqa bir-biriga ulanib turadi. Sezganingizdek, uning nomi o‘sha olimpiada halqalaridan kelib chiqib qo‘yilgan va u olimpiadan deb nomlanadi.
